BlackBerry Curve 8900 Cell Phone Review - What a Surprise!

After a month of use, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is proving to me to be the best phone I could have purchased.

This spring I was long overdue for a cell phone upgrade, so I asked pretty much everyone at the work about the best solution for me. I wanted something reliable and multifunctional, something I will not have to throw away for a long time. Basically it boiled down to iPhone and BlackBerry. BlackBerry won based on its slick, thin and sophisticated look. I was also attracted by the screen (480X360 resolutions) with its amazingly bright and sharp colors.

There is an unlocked version of Curve 8900 on sale at Amazon. You can buy it $350 off the original price through this link.

curve 8900 cell phoneLet’s take a look at the BlackBerry Curve 8900 features:

But I truly started to love it now that I use it extensively everyday. I love how fast the processor is, and how well the OS is optimized for it. No more seconds wasted waiting for the stuff to pop up on the screen. Also, now I rarely have to e-mail from my computer anymore as almost all of that gets done through the phone. And it certainly helps not to worry about taking a camera with me anymore- the phone’s camera of 3.2MP works great with recording weekends and soccer practices. For that purpose I had upgraded the memory to 16 GB. But now, I can also put in all the music I ever want to listen, so yard work and housecleaning don’t have to be monotonous anymore. Honestly, I have not played much with BB maps and GPS to know how well it works. Maybe I need to get lost more often.

This phone is currently being sold with two carriers:

BlackBerry Curve 8900 Phone, Titanium (T-Mobile)
BlackBerry Curve 8900 Phone, Black (AT&T)

The only thing better I would like to see this phone do is the video recording. Only I am not sure I would like to pay extra for that capacity. But sincerely, I believe that all cell phones should be like this one, and that manufacturer’s should stop wasting our time offering us inferior products. Seeing me play with it all the time, my buddies kid that once I die they should bury me with it. Well, Egyptian pharaohs had their great treasures, and I have my BlackBerry, so that’s just fine with me.
